Wanda is a video game character of the Dragon Fighter series, first appearing as hidden character in Dragon Fighter II Hyper Fighting. Being a black woman, she is considered a rare kind of character in all fighting games.
Biography
Concept
Her design is based on a female version of the character Hakim (played by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) in the martial arts film Game of Death.
Capcom wanted to create this character aiming to make approach female people, expecially American ones, to Dragon Fighter series.
Personality
Living in a suburb ghetto, she defends weaker and innocent people from the criminality and delinquency ruling in her district.
She is a kind, helpful and unselfish woman with a great spirit of justice and honesty.
She is not the epitome of womanhood at all having a rude and little graceful attitude. During her childhood, she was the classical baby-girl who got along much more with male children than female ones.
Her feature is costantly chewing gums and making bubble gums.
